Sounds of Deceit: The Lost of Trust in the News Media

What is the news now a days but a dark echo chamber for those who only want to hear what they want and to misinform the uninformed. We are so trusting in the news and in whatever it says to us as long as it fits into our world view and when we don't like what we hear from the news we believe that they are lying, that they are manipulating the fact as to try to make the story seem different. This is the sad reality that the news has just become a deceitful mess that just want to push their agenda onto the people that view their content. Even people who do comedy as their main ploy to entertain people, such as the YouTube comedian Steven Crowder, provide multiple sources for what they are talking about and cross reference everything that they say as to be right better than the news does with all of its funding. I have learned more from people like Steven Crowder than I have from reading a news article because the news only provides one side of the story as to try to push a certain view on a problem. So why has the media become this way to the point that we can't trust the people put in the roles to inform us, why do we learn more from places such as YouTube and other social media platform more than a place like CNN or MSMBC, and when will we be able to trust the media again without having to police the media like place like China who control their news.
